YourIIG launched the Class of 2020 programme, with 32 students, on 18 February 2020. We are proud to have two classes once again this year with each consisting of 16 candidates.
Darryl Grater welcomed all as #YourIIG President-Elect 2020. He emphasized that the course provides exposure to a wide range of companies in the insurance industry and provides the opportunity to meet and gain knowledge from experienced professionals in the field, thus adding real value and skill to the candidates. Leadership and mentorship are always a key focus of the programme, with the intention to develop general business and leadership skills.
Darryl introduced the two course facilitators; Linda Coetzee and Jenna Coetzee.
Linda has been in the field of human development for 30 years. She started Linda Coetzee and Associates in 1989 and, since then, has been the designer and creator of many excellent training and development programmes. Linda has a wealth of experience in corporate training and employee wellness, and is highly respected in her field. She has a degree in Industrial Psychology and English, and a passion for developing people. Jenna Coetzee is a qualified workplace coach and lifeline counsellor.
Natasha Maroun, Head of Impact and Transformation at the IIG, said a few words of inspiration and thanked all our programme sponsors. Sasria was represented by Tshepiso Chocho who shared a few words of wisdom.
