On the 5th of May, your IIG hosted the Presidents Golf Day which was held at the Randpark Golf Club on the Firethorn golf course. The match, sponsored by Discovery and Emerald was played in a Betterball Stableford format and featured players from various insurance and underwriting management companies.
The players truly appreciated the opportunity to be outdoors and enjoy the weather whilst networking with colleagues who most hadn’t connected physically in months. The activation stops were sponsored by Chubb, Tracker SA, Crawford SA, King Price and CLC who did a great job cheering and hydrating the players over the full day.
The running order for the event opened with the Ceremonial Tee off by the IIG President, Tshepiso Chocho, this was followed by lunch served at the Halfway House and the much anticipated post-match prize-giving ceremony which took place in the Azlea Room after an hours intermission over good food and entertainment.

- Nearest to the pins went to Grant Khovry (5th) and Niel Van Heerden (17th).
- The Longest drive was awarded to Bevan Manchest
- Raffel Winners, Suren Kasil and Alex Taljaard
