What is your favourite travel childhood memory?
Being treated like ‘one of the boys’ with my older brothers.
What is your favourite holiday destination?
Any place with open fields, fresh air and lots of “winter sun” (Ireland).
What is the best way to sleep on a plane?
I have no idea, I am always the one on the plane, wide awake.
What is your top travel tip?
Smile! You have to be there, and so does everyone else, and it cannot go any faster.
What do you like to do while travelling?
I wish I could sleep, but since I can’t, I read and listen to music.
What travel gadgets are you taking with you on this tour?
Not really a gadget person, however, I must be able to work, so an adapter for my laptop is a must.
What are you looking forward to the most on this trip?
The people, the culture and the clothes.
Tell us something fun about yourself that most people don’t know?
I am a really funny person, I think!
What is the one thing that you cannot travel without?
My earphones.
What country has the best food?
Australia.
Have you ever gotten lost while travelling?
Yes, all the time! That is why I always find the right travel buddies.
What other destinations are on your bucket list?
Next trip is China.

By being a proud Ambassador of SA.
