Class of 2022 Round up

The class of 2022 had many engagements over the last few weeks

Class of session

An excited Class of 2022 met up at Constantia Insurance for their bi monthly session a few weeks ago. In the session emotional intelligence and conflict resolution were a few of the subjects discussed. Future plans was a hot topic as they made their final plans for fundraising at the Exclusive golf day and karaoke event, the team had much to do and very little time. As always the energy of the class was electric.

Executive Golf Day

The Executive golf day took place at Steyn City on Thursday, 25 August and the Class of 2022 #Showed-Up as always and raised more than R5,000 at their activation stand. Guests to the 5th hole had to guess how many marshmallows where in the container and a very calculated guess turned out to be spot on. The correct guess was awarded with all the marshmallows and some wine to enjoy it with.

Karaoke Time

On Saturday, 27 August was the big karaoke day, at The Joker Pub and Grill in Roodepoort. Class of 2022, IIG members and guests had a great time belting out songs both old and new, with participants winning themselves goody bags sponsored by Garran Group and Chartered Risk filled with delightful goods. The judges named a gentleman called Anthony AKA Koster as the Karaoke King, the proceeds raised from this event exceeded R3,000 and will go towards the IIG Academic  programme in 2023.

What’s next?

The next IIG Class of 2022 session will be held in September at the Constantia Insurance campus and the class is already looking forward to it. Keep an eye out for the next round of events planned by the Class of teams in the near future.
