It was a beautiful sunny day on the 20th of August 2019 along with a gorgeous view at the award-winning golf estate, Steyn City. On arrival, golfers were treated to a VIP golfing experience with the sponsor activations. Constantia welcomed the golfers with personalized name bag tags, Emerald with custom glove fitting for both gents and ladies and Santam had happy socks for all golfers. #YourIIG Sponsor Tracker had hat clip markers, sugary treats and Swiss Re ensured that all golfers could cover their drivers with branded covers.
The glorious surrounds of Steyn City contributed to a fantastic day spent in sunshine fully enjoyed by the golfers with their fellow professionals. The golf course, with its award-winning Jack Nicklaus design, offered serious golfing for everyone during play, the golfers made sure to have fun and relax throughout the day.
The format in play for this golfing tournament was Better Ball Stableford and the four-balls motivated each other and gave in their best. When the time came for the players to finish their game, they were given time to prepare for a sit down in the luxurious clubhouse where the prize-giving and Halfway House was hosted.
#YourIIG President, Carla Jordon opened prize-giving. The networking that followed was accompanied by great food, and wonderful memories of the day well spent.

A few fun prizes were also handed out! The best lady won by; Venessa Buitendag and the 2nd best lady won by; Corne Coertze. We also had a prize for the longest day sponsored by Constantia won by; Jackie Gotz and Stuart Forbes from Swiss Re as well Sane Mpofu and Clement Mosala from Emerald.
