An exquisite South African Spring day awaited golfers from the Gauteng Insurance Industry at the award-winning golf estate, Steyn City, on the 28th of August 2018. On arrival goflers were treated to a VIP golfing experience, main sponsors; Emerald & Santam went out of their way to welcome golfers with custom Srixon glove fittings, water bottles, towels and welcome drinks. #YourIIG Co-Sponsors Fulcrum & Tracker ensured golfers could each get their own set of tee’s and golf balls.
The beautiful surrounds of Steyn City contributed to a fantastic day spent in sunshine fully enjoyed by the golfers with their fellow insurance professionals.
The golf course, with its award-winning Jack Nicklaus design, offered a bit of fun and serious golfing for everyone during play, it was noted as a particularly challenging game this year. Halfway House and prize giving were hosted in the luxurious clubhouse with its majestic vaulted, cellar like ceilings and marble floors. #YourIIG President, Daniel Stevens opened prize-giving. The format in play for this golfing tournament was Better Ball Stableford and needless to say, the four-balls gave each other a run for their money

A few fun spot prizes were also handed out! Fulcrum sponsored four lucky draws won by; Joe Szemerei, Conrad Booyse, Gordon Reggiman, and Johan Meyer.
Santam winner of “Guess the # of Golf Balls” Competition was won by Warren Berriman who guessed the correct amount of 137 balls
The networking that followed was accompanied by great food, and wonderful memories of a day well spent with #YourIIG.
