As September marks the beginnings of new and varied seasons around the world, the IIG was fervently going over the plans for the IIG Internal trip to Milan and Madrid.
21 delegates from different companies and parts of the industry embarked on the journey for the Ultimate Networking Experience, departing from OR Tambo on Monday, 26 September 2022. The diversity that the delegation presents has so far presented an opportunity for rich engagement and conversation with the businesses.

After a quick stop over in Dubai, delegates headed to Spain’s central capital, Madrid where company visits include Mapfre’s CESVIMap , Solunion – Euler Hermes (Allianz Trade), Marsh Spain, Deloitte, and Swiss Re.
The second leg of the journey will see delegates travelling to Milan in the northern region of Italy to visit interact with Generali, Munich Re, Chubb, and Marsh Italy
The trip provides a platform where delegates learn and share ideas with global and local (in country) industry players. The sessions so far have been very interactive with hosts learning as much from a South African perceptive as the delegates did about the local market(s).
