The IIG (Insurance Institute of Gauteng) Night Golf tournament took place on the 28th of October 2021 at the Randpark Golf Club and was truly an evening to remember filled with great opportunities to network and reconnect!
A huge thank you to our sponsors, Santam/SHA, Glasfit, Old Mutual Insure, Genasys and Swiss Re who played a huge role in the success of the event and to ensure that the players of this 10 glow in the dark holes were entertained and well refreshed throughout the evening. Our 2021 President Tshepiso Chocho and Deputy President Thabo Twalo enjoyed the evening networking with all the players along with the rest of the IIG Council.
Upon arrival, the golfers were escorted to the registration table where they received branded goodie bags sponsored by Glasfit ad Swiss Re and welcome drinks and eats sponsored by Genasys whilst enjoying the view of the Golf Course over the sunset. Old Mutual sponsored Caddy Shirts which were appreciated.
Santam/SHA, the main sponsor for this event welcomed players with their fun Halloween Theme. The Santam/SHA hole did not only provide guests with Halloween candy and refreshments, but also with warmth and a fun themed environment, thank you to Santam/SHA for all the effort that went into organizing all the goodies for the players and hosting them at this hole.
Glasfit’s activation stand was also enjoyed by the participants and provided refreshments and more goodies to see the golfers through the tournament.
The IIG Night Golf was a fantastic way for all participants to take a break from their busy schedules to enjoy the outdoors and networking opportunities. Welcome-back drinks sponsored by Genasys and a cocktail-style dinner and awaited the players as they conquered the last Hole.
The dinner included a prize-giving ceremony, congratulations to the Prize Winners:
