Mentorship to me is a very personal journey and should not be viewed as a short- term programme (ie for 6 month/ a year), because it does and should have an ever-lasting impact on your life. I have had various mentors throughout my life starting from school and still today in my current role, who have played instrumental parts in forming the individual I am.

We all grow up with different circumstance and experiences and need positive reassurance/guidance.

I have had the pleasure of being a mentor to number of individuals in the insurance industry (locally and internationally) as well as when I was in audit. I have seen my mentees grow; increase in confidence and become round individuals – not just work focused but finding a balance across all aspects of their lives. I too have learned many new things from the mentees.

The R&WI program has been exceptional with exceptional mentees, I have thoroughly enjoyed learning about new cultures and countries and developing deep connections with my mentees on the program.
