Have you ever travelled overseas before and which is your favourite destination?
Unfortunately, my travels have been confined to the continent. I have been to a number of African countries – Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia, Mozambique, Namibia, Botswana and Lesotho.
Why have you decided to join IIG Global 2019?
As they say ‘ to travel is to live’. Travelling is always an enriching experience and this tour affords me the opportunity to learn a few things professionally and at a personal level.
If you had one travel tip for first-time travellers what would it be?
Preparation is key.
What are you looking forward to the most on this trip?
Meeting new people and learning from their experiences. Also getting to see the iconic symbols of the first word as seen and experienced through movies and books.
Tell us something fun about yourself that most people don’t know?
An avid reader of anything and everything.
What is the one thing that you cannot travel without?
A good book.
If you could live in any other country where would you live?
Tanzania.
What country has the best food?
Ghana has some exotic foods and my favourite is the grass cutter.
What is your least favourite thing about travelling?
‘ Airplane Ear’ pain which can be irritating sometimes as I suffer from sinus.
How will u be putting the SA in the USA?
A shining star in the Africa League of Nations, which unfortunately has been plagued by wars, famine and bad leadership.
