When the year begun, no one could have prepared me for this impactful journey I have been on. This has been a transformative experience that has significantly shaped my approach to both my career and personal development. From the onset, the environment was one that encouraged collaboration #LinkUP and exploration, encouraging us to engage deeply with concepts we would naturally shy away from or overlook.
I for one was out of my comfort zone, there was nowhere to hide but whatever potential you have inside of you, Jenna and Linda will make sure it is unleashed. I was required to do a lot of introspection and be self-aware. There were regular opportunities for me to assess my strengths and areas for improvement which allowed me to cultivate a growth mindset.
Being able to embark on this journey with my team, tribe Imbumba broadened my understanding and view as we navigated through collaborative projects and discussions. I learned to appreciate the value of teamwork and the strength that comes from diverse viewpoints. We were also given a chance to be part of a great initiative Midesk which is a privilege and speaks to the humanity in all of us and with the guidance of council members Thuso and Simon, there was no way I would have not embraced this journey wholeheartedly.
I am incredibly grateful for this experience and as the journey is coming to an end It has gifted me with great connections and equipped me with tools to not only succeed but be impactful. I have a renewed passion for the insurance industry and am excited for the Future.
