The Insurance Institute of Gauteng (IIG) launched its first quiz night at the lively Colony Arms, with Discovery Insure proudly stepping in as the event sponsor. The evening buzzed with excitement as teams from across the insurance industry gathered to test their knowledge, enjoy good company, and compete for bragging rights.
The quiz night was a fantastic success, drawing a diverse crowd eager for some friendly rivalry and a chance to unwind after work. Laughter and cheers filled the venue as questions ranged from general knowledge to insurance-specific trivia, keeping everyone on their toes and sparking plenty of spirited debate.
Adding to the festive atmosphere was a special Easter raffle. Attendees had the opportunity to enter and win a variety of Easter-themed prizes, bringing an extra layer of fun to the night. The raffle was more than just entertainment-it also served as a fundraiser for Taking Care of Business, a local NGO dedicated to making a difference in the community.
Thanks to the generosity of Discovery Insure and the enthusiastic participation of everyone who attended, the first IIG quiz night was not only entertaining but also meaningful. Funds raised through the raffle will go toward supporting Taking Care of Business and their important work.
